Custom Power BI Visuals Support

Getting Started
To add a visual from the Microsoft AppSource Marketplace:
In Power BI Desktop or Service, open the Visualizations pane and click the three-dot menu (…).
Select "Get more visuals" to open the AppSource Marketplace.
Search for the visual by name, then click Add.
The visual will appear in your Visualizations pane and is ready to use.
Alternatively, you can find the visual directly on Microsoft Marketplace and click Get it now.
Frequently Asked Questions
Why isn't the visual showing up after adding it? Make sure you're using a supported version of Power BI Desktop (January 2023 or later). Try restarting Power BI after adding the visual.
Can I use this visual in Power BI Service / published reports? Yes. Visuals added from the Marketplace will carry over when you publish to Power BI Service. Your Power BI admin can also deploy Marketplace visuals org-wide via the Admin portal.
Does the visual work with live connections and DirectQuery? Most visuals are compatible with DirectQuery and live connections. See the visual's listing for specific compatibility notes.
Can I use this in a paginated report? No, custom visuals are not supported in paginated reports (SSRS-style).
Troubleshooting
Visual shows "This visual has been disabled" — Your organization may have restricted custom visuals. Contact your Power BI admin to enable Marketplace visuals.
Data isn't displaying correctly — Check that your field mappings match the expected data types described in the visual's documentation.
Visual behaves differently on mobile — Power BI mobile has limited support for custom visuals. Desktop and web are recommended.
Error after a Power BI update — Updates can occasionally affect custom visuals. Check back here or reach out for an updated version.
